As a teacher I always end up with broken and gross crayons at the end of the year. Yes, I could use them for my class the following year, but I enjoy giving them new materials to work with. I decided that I wanted to find a way to recycle my crayons.... so I visited my favorite website (Youtube) to come up with ideas. So, here we go.... recycled crayons! I melted the crayons down over the stove, and then placed them in candy molds. They were left to cool... and VIOLA! New crayons! I made more colors but only took pictures of the purple crayons.
